My first interaction with the series was Aoi being incredibly rude, and I was just, "Yeah, not happening if she's the love interest." THEN I learned Fuuka was a love interest and I was immediately back to deal again. I need to watch this series. Fuuka would have been my dream girl in high school, and an adult version still is. Also, according to something I read, her hair is not actually white. That is just how he imagines her in his head, her real hair color is black. So, pretty concrete evidence that he is into her if he already imagines her as the magical, beautiful being, which is what white hair often represents. He literally sees her differently than he sees everyone else.

Bell x Ryu needs to happen because from a story telling point...these two have grown too close and had gone through to much together...if DanMachi ends with Bell x Ais then it'll be sad because Bell and Ryu have more chemistry then Bell and Ais...this is me viewing the story from a writers perspective and as a story

Hello, new viewer here. With season 5 being here, I led myself into a rabbit hole about Danmachi on YT and found you. It sucks that you don't make videos anymore and I saw you at a moment where uploading isn't as probable as it use to be. I've been a Danmachi fan since day one and this series is one of my personal favs. If you do get to read this and if you do eventually have the time to come back you should do reviews every 5 episodes that come out in one video to make it easier on yourself. I know I'm being selfish but it was a suggestion is all. I know I haven't been here for very long but thank you for being a fan of Danmachi makes me realize there are more fans out there than what is led on. Have fun in your future endeavors!

I had some really bad vibes about the arc and the following School arc becoming an anime adaptation. Fujino Ōmori is a great world builder, but really shows his flaws when it comes to character development. Bell being a very dislikable at times kind of makes me wish that there was a pause on the anime for a few more years so Fujino Ōmori could hopefully grow as a writer. Not trying to be a hater this is my opinion.

you've been my go to channel for Danmachi stuff since I started watching back during season 2 and your channel has always given me a sense of community for this series I love so much. I'm one of the people you convinced to pick up the light novels, and I'm so happy I did because it really is my favorite story ever. Almost two months late to the party but glad to see that you're still around here. I also enjoy your content although I'm an anime only guy. Do videos as you like and don't force you into something. Me and hopefully many others will be happy to see you from time to time, even if it takes months or years. I'm sorry I never took the time before but let me tell you that, you're awesome and I genuinely love your content. It's been a great journey and I'm very thankful for the time and effort you put into each and every video you published 🥰. As weird as it may sound you are an actual part of my DanMachi experience and it will not be the same without you, it's as if the author just announced that one of my favorite characters won't be involved in the main story from now on. That being said I understand your explanation and I commend you for deciding to prioritize your well-being. It's quite sad to hear that the pressure you felt due to your activity as a content creator prevented you from fully enjoying the very series you wanted to promote as a fan. As some people mentioned in other comments, you look good and it seems you are doing well these days, I'm really happy for you. I'm just going to throw it out there but you don't need to be as thorough with the content you might produce in the future, if you lack the time and energy that's fine. Take less notes, edit less and be more ''spontaneous'', we'll still love you even with a less ''scripted'' approach you know 😉. great to hear from you Lorne! now and again a GREAT YT anime content channel pops up on my radar and yours was awesome all the way! i've been a huge DanMachi anime fan (not a source reader though) and watching you and AniNews put the work in and the critical analysis and cutting in scenes from the DanMachi anime and text from the novels... i'm glad i've watched your journey. FoxenAnime and PlatinumEquinox and HexCompetitive have all let their YT channels 'fall by the wayside' over the past 10-ish years and i'll miss them each and every one. as for Wistoria? yep, eyegasms all around! but that's Bandai Namco Pictures for ya, those guys know how to wow the fans! their partner studio on Wistoria... Actas has done wonderous work on the Princess Principal franchise but... otherwise... not so great. J.C. Staff continues to be one of my favorite anime studios and i'm hoping they weren't too busy with all their other recent projects to be forced into a compromised position with DanMachi S5. Lorne... 30 isn't old... you've JUST hit the number of decades i've been watching anime in total! i started my American otaku journey back in 1990 and i totally get it... sometimes hobby burnout just slaps you in the face. you have to step back and reexamine your priorities and see how you need to rebalance your life. best of luck in everything you do, and if that includes more DanMachi videos... i'll be watching.

Straight just had a smooth brain moment and forgot to comment after watching your vid when I wanted to but now is as any good time as ever It's sad to hear your putting the channel of the back pedal Lorne, I always wondered what you're profession was that kept you so busy from making more content for the channel but I've always really appreciated your episode breakdowns and additional lore about characters and events because as a fellow Dan Machi fan I couldn't find any creators at first that did episode breakdowns after my go to stopped being consistent with his and then I found you so it's sadder to see you go as well knowing how consistent, devoted, and how much you love Dan Machi but I'm glad you recommend another creator I could go over to however I will still forever be around for any rare videos you decide to post love you man and I wish you the best in life ❤️

At 41, myself, I've learned we all go through stages in life, sometimes giving up entertainment for a political life, or pressing hard into work, or family life. Just remember to relax once in awhile (I read v19 in <24h, but still 8 volumes behind in re:zero😅) If you put out a 15 minute review of your thoughts on v19, live or unscripted, I know I would still enjoy watching it. Since I started following this channel it always had the "just some dude making videos" vibe, even with the great quality critical reviews. Still, the lower production videos like episode reaction and Skyrim VR series were cool and they felt "closer" so it would be nice seeing that content on the rare occasions that you upload. UA-cam is so bloated with fake ass creators that your content seems fresh in comparison.

episode 1 of Wand and Sword gave me minitour vibes from Danmachi, after I looked to see who the author was, I was like oooooh that makes sense
